Biography

James A. H. Corley is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Sloane L. Fish, LLC. He earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class. He is an alumni of West Virginia University and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Corley spent 4 years serving in U.S. Army's Presidential Honor Guard unit, "The Old Guard," stationed near Arlington National Cemetary. Mr. Corley primarily handles personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence, and medical malpractice. He has tried cases (bench and jury trials) through the State of Maryland. Mr. Corley has also handled traffic and criminal matters in both the District and Circuit Courts throughout Maryland. Among his many accomplishments, while in law school, Mr. Corley was a member of University of Baltimore's National Moot Court Regional Championship team in 2009-2010. Additionally, Mr. Corley has been chosen as a Rising Star each year since 2016 by Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is a service that rates "outstanding lawyers in more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement." The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
